If you haven't already heard, our youth ministry is running Socktober this year! Socktober wasn't invented by us, but we thought it was a great idea and decided to do it at Bethany.
There are many, many homeless people in our ow city who need help. We are collecting socks, hats, gloves, umbrellas, and toiletries to make these cold wet months a little bit easier for them. Donations can be dropped off in the youth room or the Boardroom (look for the Socktober box). We are inviting the whole church to join us! The deadline is October 30. We are NOT collecting items such as clothing, toys or blankets, but you can drop them off at your local thrift shop!
