Socktober

For the month of October our youth ministry is collecting socks and other essential items to help Vancouver’s homeless. We are partnering with First United Church, which has a distribution program in place already. Are you able to help us and donate? Items can be dropped off in the Youth Room or the orange box by the Boardroom until Nov. 1

Accepted donations:

· Socks, gloves, hats, scarves, new underwear

· Warm adult clothing, jackets, rain ponchos

· Sleeping bags and blankets

· Dishes—coffee mugs, , biodegradable cups and cutlery, large dinner plates

· Flashlights and batteries

· First aid supplies

· Toiletries—shampoo/conditioner, lice shampoo, feminine hygiene, soap, dental care, towels, deodorant, new brushes and combs
