Youth September-October Events

Here is the event calendar for Youth (grades 8-12). All events are free and take place in the Attic on Fridays from 7-9pm unless otherwise noted.

• September 12: Tie Dye Kick-Off - join us for games, t-shirt tie dying, and a meet and greet with your new small group! Shirts and dye will be provided for free - but be sure to bring old clothes so you don't get dirty.
• September 19: Youth Night - join us for games, a message, and some bonding time in small groups.
• September 26: Youth Night - join us for games, a message, and some bonding time in small groups.

• October 3: Corn Maze - we are leaving at 7pm sharp, so be sure to arrive early to hand in your permission form and $6 admission fee. This is a great event to bring a friend to - but be sure to sign up no later than Wednesday October 1 so we can arrange rides!
• October 10: Youth Night - Our theme this evening is "What are your Gifts?" Join us for games, a message and small groups as we talk about serving others using our gifts and talents.
• October 17: Youth Night - Our theme this evening is "The Action of Serving" and instead of our usual games and small groups, we will be heading downtown as a group to hand out food and hot drinks to the homeless. Students must sign up by October 15 and need to bring a signed permission form to the event.
• October 24: Fall Missions Banquet & Youth Night - join us for a turkey dinner in the gym - donations go to Greg and Maria Evans, NAB missionaries currently serving in the Philippines. After dinner we will head upstairs for games and small groups. Our theme this evening is "Charity Share," and all students are encouraged to bring info about their favourite charity or cause to share in small groups. Dinner starts at 6pm - look for the youth tables.
• October 31: No Event (church wide) - we encourage all families to spend some time together on this busy evening, whether you celebrate Halloween or not!
