School's Out Party & Chapel Vancouver

There's been a lot of buzz about these two upcoming events, so I'm throwing all the info up here so you can keep track of it! Be sure to check this post closer to the event - if anything changes, I will edit the info here.

The basic premise behind these events is that several Vancouver churches, in partnership with Youth Unlimited, get together to run an event throughout the year called Chapel. Basically it's a multi-church youth worship service. Since it's year end, they are doing their June event in tandem with a big outreach event called School's Out Vancouver. These two events are open to anyone in grade 6+. At Bethany, we are inviting all students currently in iConnect, Youth and College & Career. Unfortunately, current grade 5s are too young for the event (although they can attend the rest of our summer events!).

School's Out Party

This is a private party at PLAYLAND! These churches have rented out the park for youth on Saturday, June 21 from 7-11pm. This is an outreach event so be sure to invite friends! At the end of the evening they will be doing a big prize giveaway and will be promoting the Chapel event taking place the following week. You can buy your tickets for $25 right up until the event. Register through me until June 19 and you wont be charged any service fees along with your ticket! You can also buy and print your own tickets at home if that is easier. Here is the link. You can also pay $30 cash at the door to get in but there are not many tickets left. Your ticket will give you access to all rides.

Please find your own ride to the park. I will wait out front with all tickets from 6:15-7pm and I can answer any questions you may have. If you will be later than 7pm please let me know so we can make arrangements to meet so you can get your ticket. Several youth leaders will also be going, so if you can't find a ride, contact myself or them and I'm sure we can make arrangements.

Parents, please note that while the leaders will aim to provide as much supervision as possible, we might not be able to watch your kids the entire time since we have many students and only have a handful of leaders able to attend. You are welcome to sign up as well if you have any concerns about supervision. We are encouraging all students to stick together in groups for safety and fun. It would also be wise to have a phone or watch on you in case you get separated.

Chapel Vancouver

All students will be invited back for this youth worship night on Wednesday June 25 at 7pm. This event takes place at the Ford Centre (Westside Church) (777 Homer St. Vancouver). It is close to Skytrain. Again, we encourage you to find your own ride there but we will try to arrange some rides leaving from the church at 6:30pm. This evening will feature upbeat worship, a gospel message, and testimonies! It's also FREE.
