Parent Resource: Purity Culture

One of our youth parents recently passed on this interesting article to me, so I thought I'd share! Feel free to email me your thoughts on this one :)

"By purity movement I don’t mean a home that believes that sex before marriage should be avoided. That’s just a basic Christian tenet. But the purity culture has extra-biblical rules attached to it...I believe that many parents who join the purity culture movement with the absolute best of intentions may inadvertently be doing some harm."
