I.D. Bag activity for both ministries

Over the next two weeks, both iConnect and Youth will be participating in an "I.D. Bag" activity. This is a great way to learn more about your peers in your ministry and share a bit about yourself too! We did this last year and it was a big hit!

The basic idea is to bring an item that identifies you - something meaningful to you. It can be anything! And if your item is too big, you can bring a photo.

Examples: favourite book/movie/album, photos from your childhood, a travel souvenir, memento that you have a great memory of, a prized item, an award, artwork, something that represents a sport you play, etc.

iConnect details:

This Friday, September 25, the leaders will be bringing their items to share with you so you can get to know them better. This will also help you come up with ideas for an item you want to bring.

On Friday October 2, all students will be invited to share one item with the group. We want to do this as a large group so we will only do one item each this year.

Youth details:

We are doing this as a small group activity. Small groups meet for discussion and prayer on Alive nights so this is a great way to bond at the start of the year. Students should bring three items on September 25 as we will cover half of our group on the first week and the other half on October 2.

Small groups are: grade 8-10 girls, grade 11-12 girls, grade 8-9 boys, and grade 10-12 boys. The last group is very small and some can't make it on September 25 so they will all do it on October 2 and will do another activity during small group time.
