Many districts have different Spring Break dates, but good news! ALL of you have March 16-20 off of school! We hope you can make it for some or all of our weekday events for grades 6-12 :)
Monday, March 16 @ 1-2pm - Timmy's Run - Meet at Tim Horton's to hang out and get an ice cap or donut! We will be meeting at the Queensborough location. Find your own ride there or contact Amanda in advance if you are unable to get yourself there and we'll see what we can do to help you out :) Parents are welcome to stay and hang out with us too!
Tuesday, March 17 @ 7-9pm - Board Games Night - bring your own game or cards, or use ours! Join us for a great night hanging out with friends and having fun. Concession will be open throughout the night (Parents! Please note that we will not sell more than $3 worth of concession items to grade 6-7 students unless they have written permission to buy more... we know that they do not do very well with too much sugar!)
Wednesday, March 18 @ 1:30pm - Lazer Tag! We are heading to Planet Lazer in New Westminster (100 Braid St.) to play 2 games together. Please FIND YOUR OWN RIDE THERE! Cost is $11 for 2 games. We start playing at 2pm so all students must be there no later than 1:30 so we can register. Please sign up with Amanda by Monday, March 16 to reserve your spot. If you are unable to find a ride with your parent or a friend, please be sure to let us know in advance so we can arrange some rides.
Thursday, March 19 @ 1-3pm - Jam Session - Join Pastor Andrew in the youth room for some time to rock out! This is open to anyone who considers themselves musical - whether you are a beginner or you have been playing or singing for years! Join us for a great afternoon playing together. If you do not consider yourself musical, but you ARE artistic (dance, fine arts, drama) come and join Amanda as we think of some cool ways to incorporate art into our worship time... this may or may not involve an art project :)
